During our recent stay at the quaint countryside retreat, we were impressed by the idyllic location and stunning views that surrounded the property. the short walk through the woods to the national trust park was a highlight of our trip, offering a peaceful escape into nature. We highly recommend taking a stroll down to the river, indulging in some delicious ice cream, and exploring the serene walks through the woods. One of the standout features of this property was the addition of a hot tub, which we found to be a luxurious and relaxing amenity. It was well-maintained and provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. the property also boasted fantastic facilities including a washing machine and tumble dryer, which were incredibly convenient for our extended stay. We ventured out to the nearby Moody Cow, a delightful spot that offers a farm shop, cafe, children's area, and bar. It was a charming place to spend an afternoon and we enjoyed sampling some of the local fare. A trip to New Quay beach proved to be a memorable experience as we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of dolphins frolicking in the surf. The property features a large car park, which comfortably accommodated our family's oversized motorhome. the fishing lake nearby was a hit with our young one, providing hours of entertainment just a short walk from the property. While we did encounter a few minor issues such as a blocked basin and frozen pipe due to the unusually cold weather, our host was quick to address them and ensure our comfort. the spacious conservatory was a wonderful area for our family to gather, play board games, and enjoy meals together. the hotel also offers free parking, which was a bonus for us given our transportation needs. the property's garden area was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Overall, our stay at this countryside retreat was a delightful experience that offered a good value proposition for the level of luxury and amenities provided. We appreciated the peaceful setting, excellent facilities, and convenient location for exploring the surrounding areas. It was the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature, making it a truly memorable getaway.
